Description
Basal leaves pinnate split, with a long handle, the lower part of a tubular sheath clasping petioles, margin membranous; the upper stem leaves two to three pinnatifid, leaf contour is ovate to triangular, 15-30 cm long, 10-25 cm wide, long petiole to 15 cm, lower saccate dilated membranous sheath glabrous. Or rare hair, often purplish; late back lobes oblong, ovate or lanceolate, without handle, 2.5-7 cm long, 1-2.5 cm wide, apex acute, margin white cartilaginous coarsely serrate and irregular, with a mucro, both sides of the base are unequal, decurrent along the rachis into winged; the bottom leaves significantly simplified inflorescence enlargement leafless, cystic sheath, outside glabrous.
